Supermarket Chicken Welfare Outreach - THLUK

Looking for a way to take action for farmed animals? Join me for this outreach event to raise awareness of chicken welfare!

If you are passionate about this cause, I would love for you to join me and other THL volunteers for this public outreach event which is all about raising awareness of factory farmed chickens, and encouraging supermarkets to improve conditions by ending the cruel use of Frankenchickens.

What the event will involve:

• We will meet at Cascade Steps at 10:30 Saturday October 5th - you will be able to recogise us as we will all have placards!
• When everyone arrives I will introduce myself and tell you a bit more about THL UK and why we are targeting supermarkets.
• We will then move on to the nearby Sainsbury's Local, handing out leaflets and sparking public conversations
• After approx. 30 mins, we will move on to the Tesco Express and do the same.

At the end we will head to Society Cafe for a vegan treat!

Important details:

This event is open to anyone who believes in our mission: to end the abuse of all animals raised for food. You do not need to be a current volunteer or affiliated with THL UK in any way, everyone is welcome. You don’t have to be vegan to attend this event.

We’ve picked a site we believe to be accessible for wheelchair users but if you would like to double check your accessibility needs please contact the organiser, who will be happy to help. The event will involve an approximately 10 minute walk of moderate intensity featuring hills.
