We have a significant announcement to share with you today! Due to the high number or RSVPs to the Ribbon Cutting scheduled for March 24th, 2025 and requests by our school program participants for a more student-friendly date and time, the Food Strong Team and Board have chosen a new date for the event. The Superior Farm Ribbon Cutting will now be held on Friday, May 30th, from 10 am to 1:30 pm at the Superior Farm, 6527 Superior Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44103. The official ceremony will be held at 10:30 am - when we will celebrate the new beginning of this site- originally a farm in the mid-1800s, then St. George's Lithuanian Catholic Church, then, most recently, the organization Community Greenhouse Partners (who is gifting us the land).
We will cut ribbon at our upgraded hoop house and then break ground by planting future produce we will provide to students at Cleveland Metropolitan School District. We will be offering site tours, Q&A, and a chance to offer your input about the reinvigoration of this new site.

Superior Farm Ribbon Cutting!!
Come down to the Farm at Superior and E.67th to get an early look at the property we'll be lovingly restoring over five years into an urban farm and community resource hub. Sara and our Farm Manager Jeff will be offering residents, media, and volunteers tours of the three acre grounds, farmhouse and church, then we'll share early Year One plans and hold listening sessions for neighborhood residents to share their needs and feedback.
Attendees will inform our future offerings and learn about sponsorship and volunteer opportunities for individuals, partner nonprofits and corporate partners.
