Meet the Workshop Teacher

Prepare for a journey into the creative world of Jason Douglas, a seasoned Michigan author with a fresh twist on storytelling. With 24 years as a teacher, he blends wisdom with imagination in his recent dive into comic writing.

His debut, "PARALLEL," not only sold out but earned TWO Ringo Award Nominations. This mind-bending sci-fi tale channels the likes of "Dark Mirror" and "The Twilight Zone."

His latest work, "JANE AMERICAN," funded via Kickstarter and printed with Greko/Comix Well Spring, paints a vivid picture of historic Plymouth, Michigan. This 32-page one-shot explores themes of identity, gender, and self-worth, delivering a captivating story reminiscent of beloved classics.
