WHAT IS THE WORKSHOP ABOUT?
The workshop has been developed to support clinicians who are new to student supervision, want to improve their supervisory skills, or for whom it has been an extended period of time since providing supervision to students.
This workshop is appropriate for clinicians from all professions including nursing, midwifery, allied health, and medicine.
The workshop will cover six topics (6) topics:
- Facilitating Reflective Practice
- Facilitating Clinical Reasoning
- Understanding learning and teaching styles
- Managing underperforming students
- Providing effective feedback to students
- Difficult conversations
This will be an in person workshop in Toowoomba. For clinicans located in the Darling Downs (outside of Toowoomba only) and South West Queensland, online attendance will be an option.
Registration will commence from 8:15am for a 8:30am start.
