It's time to get CAFFINATED!Join us as we visit Grove City for a ruck that is sure to leave you buzzing!
We will begin our ruck at Collage Coffee and Art House in Grove City at 0700. Grab a drink and join us as we begin the four-mile trek to their new location across town at the Grove City Outlets. Grab another drink (if you dare) and some extra weight and begin the long trek back.
This will be a coupon ruck. Plan on extra weights being thrown around and the occasional BURPEES! RAWR!
This is also a patch-awarding event. (Cost of the patch is the purchase of one drink at Collage and maybe a little sweat.) Some come earn your first 'Coffee Ruck' patch and meet some new friends. #ruckyeah
Rucking is a form of physical activity that involves walking with a loaded backpack (or ‘rucksack’) over various distances and terrains. (Plate carriers and sandbags are also welcome.) A moderate amount of added weight can produce the same stimulus and metabolic benefit as running, while also strengthening the legs and lower back. Rucking is similar to hiking and is often used as conditioning by backcountry hunters, endurance athletes, and those in the military and emergency services.
