What happens when circus meets science? The Science of Juggling is a fun, family-friendly performance by the Flying Gravity Circus Circademic Squad, where physics and play take center stage. Through exciting demonstrations of scarf, ball, and club juggling, the show reveals how gravity, air resistance, angular momentum, and even math make juggling possible. With humor, teamwork, and audience participation, the Circademic Squad transforms scientific concepts into laughter-filled learning as they show how understanding the science behind juggling turns mistakes into mastery. The Circademic Squad features Jackie Davis, founder of the Flying Gravity Circus and author of DIY Circus Lab for Kids; Ella Glass, an FGC alumna and physics major at UMass Lowell; and Gabe Scott, a current Trouper in the Circus Studies Program at High Mowing School. Together, they share their passion for juggling, science, and creative learning through this unique blend of circus artistry and education.
The Science of Juggling is an engaging, interactive experience that celebrates curiosity, creativity, and connection—the heart of both science and circus. Learn more about the FLYING GRAVITY CIRCUS.
