Seedy Saturdays are back, and May is going to be super Seedy! We're combining the Dwarf Tomato Seed Drop Off and the May Members Meeting with some classic Seedy Saturday activities. Seedy Saturdays are a fun, relaxed and social working bee, no RSVP necessary, all welcome ? You can bring seeds to donate to the seed bank, help us process seeds, or just join for a cuppa.WHEN: 11am-1pm, Saturday 11 May
WHERE: Canberra City Farm LESS Building, 2 Dairy Flat Road, Fyshwick
11-12pm: Seedy Saturday activity, DTP Seed Drop Off
We'll be doing some winnowing and seed sorting, the best kind of seedy business! Dwarfie growers - please bring your (fermented) cleaned dwarfie seed and don’t forget to label your seed using our seed passport (linked below). If you're so inclined, bring a plate to share for morning tea ? This is the core drop-off time, stragglers welcome until 2pm.
12-1pm: Members' Meeting
Our members' meetings are relaxed and everyone is welcome to come along. It's a great opportunity for members to have a say about the direction and activities of CSS, bring forward ideas and possible projects, volunteer for existing projects or hear about all the seedy things we do and meet other keen seed savers.
If you're not yet a member, you can join on the day or you can observe and see if you'd like to join. We'd love to see you and spend time so come along! If you've got questions or need more details, please email us.
