Get ready for the ultimate pixel party at the Science Center! Take on a hydraulic challenge. Explore the world of slime, and launch rockets at Creepers. Whether you're crafting your next masterpiece or completing our scavenger hunt, this event is the perfect night for all block builders!
This event is intended for families with children ages 5+. Younger siblings are welcome to join, but are not permitted to sleep over. All attendees must purchase a ticket. Children must have an adult in their party.
What to expect:
- Check-in: Please arrive between 5:30 - 7:30pm on Saturday, May 3.
- Exhibit Exploration: Enjoy open exploration of our hands-on exhibit halls
- Themed Activity Stations: Drop by multiple Minecraft-themed activity stations
- Planetarium Show: Pop into the planetarium and blast-off on an outer space adventure
- Lights Out or Departure: For guests not wishing to sleepover, you must leave the building by 9pm. We'll say nighty-night to the dinosaurs and shut off the lights at 10:15pm for guests who are staying the night. Lights will come back on at 6:30am.
- Breakfast: Wake up to a light breakfast served in the cafe from 7:00 - 8:00am.
- Morning IMAX and Departure: Catch an IMAX film before heading out for the day. Show begins at 8:15am. This event officially ends at 9:00am when the IMAX film ends.
What Should I Bring If I'm Staying the Night?
Slumber Supplies: Sleeping bag and pillow (no air mattresses or tents, please) and minimum toiletries. We encourage wearing clothes that you can sleep in to the event.
Other Information:
- Dinner is not provided. Breakfast is provided for guests staying the night. We encourage eating dinner before arrival, but you can bring your own food, visit a local resturant, or place an order for delivery. Please note that if you are staying the night and choose to leave the building after check-in, you must return by 9:00pm.
- Any adult over the age of 18 will be required to sign a waiver. Visit www.mdsci.org/sleepovers to access the waiver.
- There is very limited outlet access. Please bring your phone fully charged.
