From the elusive owls and nimble raccoons to the curious opossums, you’ll have the privilege of observing the “night shift” as they awaken and engage in their nightly activities.
Led by our educators, this approximately 1-mile hike will lead you through the refuge’s moonlit trails, offering captivating insights into the lives of the nocturnal animals that call Cedar Run home. Learn fascinating facts about their behaviors and adaptations for life in the dark as you traverse the tranquil forest under the luminous glow of the Super Moon.

This program begins at 6:30pm and runs 1hr+ depending on our findings, not to exceed 90 minutes. This session is adults only. $15/adult. 20 participants maximum. Advanced registration required.
