School bands and cheerleaders will also be there to ramp up the festivities.
Pick your race, burn some calories, celebrate your accomplishment with your friends, then head home and catch the big game!
Pikes Peak Ascent Qualifier
The Super Half can be used as a Pikes Peak Ascent Qualifier with a time of 2:30 or faster. Registration for the Pikes Peak Ascent opens on March 1st. You can qualify for the Pikes Peak Ascent on Super Bowl Sunday and you don't even have to leave town.

The following applies to both the Super Half Marathon™ and the Game Day 5K™. There are separate award categories for males and females.

Age Groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
The race is chip timed. All scoring is based on chip time, except the top 3 overall (male and female) are scored by gun time. The masters and age-group awards are based on chip time.
No duplicate awards. That is, overall award winners are not eligible for masters or age group awards. Masters award winners are not eligible for age group awards.
Race SWAG
All participants (half marathon and 5K) can choose to add a long-sleeved tech shirt for $8. Both men's and women's sizing is available.
Race medal/bottle opener for all finishers (will come in handy during the Super Bowl).
All Half Marathon finishers will receive a commemorative pint glass.
Nerf footballs for all the kids!
Sweat Check
Sweat check drop off is located at Plaza of The Rockies, 121 S Tejon.
Sweat check pickup is located at the finish line.
The Game Plan
In an effort to alleviate some of the congestion getting onto the trail, we will be asking that you, the participants, line up based on your expected pace. Signage and volunteers will be in the start area to help with this process.
Early packet pick-up: 2:00-5:00pm Saturday, February 8th, Plaza of the Rockies
Race-day packet pick-up: 8:30am, Plaza of the Rockies
Race-day registration: 9:00am, Plaza of the Rockies
Super Half Marathon start: 10:00am
Game Day 5K start: 10:15am
Course Closes: 1:00pm
Super Bowl Kickoff: 4:30pm (you will have plenty of time to run and celebrate with us at Jack Quinn's)

Post-Race Celebration
Join us after your race at Jack Quinn's Irish Pub (21 S Tejon) for our awards ceremony and a great runner party. We'll have some great live music, plus Super Bowl trivia and who-knows-what kind of shenanigans. The Jack Quinn's staff will serve its regular menu, plus a taco bar (great deal) along with all your favorite post-race drinks.
