About this Event
Do you see them spraying Krug all over Formula 1 drivers and say to yourself, "Well I would've liked to drink that, actually..."
Does your knowledge of expensive carbonated alcohol begin and end with various lyrics from 90s/00s hip hop? Follow-up, do you sip Champagne when you're thirstay? (Or do you wish you had the opportunity to do so?)
If you've ever seen Cristal on the wine list for $1600 and thought, "Perhaps tomorrow..." - the time is nigh.
We are bringing some of the fanciest Champagne we could find (Dom. Krug. Cristal. That Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle that just got 100 points) and we're building a class around it.
In this class, you'll learn about the production behind and the house styles of the world's most famous Champagnes, what makes them so special, and naturally we will also touch on the concept of 'diminishing returns' in regards to purchasing luxury goods. A great lesson to learn at any age.
Tickets are $100 per person, and include lecture, take away notes and materials, samples of the above mentioned Champagnes, plus a couple others that you've never heard of... because anonymous Champagne is super fun, too.
We will be running a special Champagne-adjacent menu during class: think crab mac and cheese, caviar and fried chicken (seriously!).
We are limiting the class to 15 people - so get your tickets now! Class is on DECEMBER 14th starting at 6:30pm
YOU MAY E-MAIL [email protected] TO PURCHASE A TICKET THAT WAIVES THE EVENTBRITE FEE.
Classes/events are non-refundable within 10 days of the class/event. If you cannot attend and it is 10 or less days until the class/event, you may transfer the tickets to someone else. Please communicate any scheduling conflicts with Barnard Griffin.
