Following Previous sell out fairytale train events since 2019 the Fairytale Express returns to Stephenson Railway Museum as the "Super Fairytale Express"!!
This is a mix of fairytale characters and super heroes! This is our Signature event which has been Going since 2019
Dress up as your favourite fairytale character or Super hero! and hop aboard a heritage train with our wonderful characters on a magical ride like no other. 🛤️
Mickey , Minnie ,Iron man , Lilo & Stitch will be available for Photos at different points in the event
You Choose your seats on the Train in the carriage based on your favourite character or choose to ride Alone with your party instead this is perfect for children or customers who prefer a more calm experience!
Please note no matter where you sit for the actual train ride all characters wil be available for photos and see each customer anyway! the seats you choose are just for the physical train ride.

which has 40 Seats in groups of 8 /10 in one carriage with walk ways to access all seats The Super hero's will move around this Entire carriage at different times

* please note no more than 7 seats can be seated together in one group in B carriage due to seats being grouped in this way.

There 70 seats available we advise this carriage for larger groups!

What Happens at the Event ?
You'll Arrive and be greeted by some Magical characters at the station to get you excited to see the train, you'll then head to the viewing platform to wish for the train to Arrive , The train will arrive to music and Characters aboard.
You'll Board and ride in a heritage train to percy main with in your chosen Carriage with or without Characters depending on your ticket selection.
Once you get to the destination characters will disembark and move around to meet you all on the grass area outside
( Weather Permitting) if the weather is bad you stay seated and Characters will come to you on your Carriage!
ALL characters if they are not in your carriage will be available for Meet and Greet and Photo opportunities no matter where your seated for the train ride!The bell will ring and we head back to the Station , Event lasts Aprox 90 mins Please note who you choose to ride with is just who you sit with on the way there for the Train Journey!Due to the layout of the heritage train, seats are arranged in separate carriages so please choose your seats carefully as you cant change seats once they are purchased.
Tickets: £16.95 Plus Booking Fee & Transaction charge PER SEAT
Please note that ALL children and adults require a ticket. Each person needs a seat.
Adults without a ticket cannot ride the train; children cannot ride the train without an accompanying adult.
NOTE ** Siblings
**Babies under 12 months can go free, but only sitting on the lap of a paying adult.
Please note they cannot be placed on a seat! these must be babies in arms to qualify who are not really old enough for the event but a sibling of a child and Adult who is attending on a paid Ticket.

Buggies are to be left at the station in our Magical safe Buggy park as we cannot fit them on the train so all belongings need to come with you.
Parking is available on site at first come first serve but we would suggest getting dropped off at the venue rather than parking for ease as not everyone will fit in the car park.

Exchange & Refunds
Tickets can not be exchanged for an alternative session after purchase, due to slot demand and tickets are non-refundable if you can't attend the event.Tickets cannot be changed due to seating requirements please book all together if you wish to sit in one group.

The Station is Located Near Silverlink Shopping Center behind the Audi Car Garage
Parking
Some Parking is Available on site for each session at the Station but we do advise getting dropped off and collected rather than parking if possible.
Public Transport
Please note the Metro is 1.5 Miles away and closest is Percy Main (this is probably not the closest form of public Transport to the venue)
There is however a bus route that takes you to Silverlink Shopping Center which is located beside us.
Buses are frequent to Silverlink Shopping Center we advise this as the public Transport method and you would then walk approx 5 mins from there to the station.
Toilets
Toilets are available on site beside the Cafe.
Arrival
Please have your Booking Name and Bar code ready on arrival to hand.
Please ONLY Arrive 30 mins before your departure Train time for E.g 12:00 Train arrives 11:30 am Prompt. This is to avoid congestion from other sessions and also keeping the Magic at all times!
Please note last entry for the train is 15 mins before your Train Departure time so e.g 10:00 am train last entry is 9:45 am this is because we need to allow time to get on the train. If you miss your Train we cannot board you onto another time so please leave in enough time to avoid disappointment on the day, we would hate for anyone to miss their slot!
NOTE - Ticket entry is Required to be in the Station and join the event.
Pictures
You are able to take as many pictures on the day as possible with your mobiles we do not have a Photographer on site for this so bring your Phones!
Please be aware Photographers Must have Permission to take Professional Photos for Media or personal use from the event company Prior.
Buggy's
There will be a Buggy park located at the station in which you can leave pushchairs- Please note you cannot take them onto the train or the platform.
Wheelchair Access
There is no Wheelchair Access on the train as the train is a heritage train but wheelchairs may be left on the platform Apologies for any inconvenience.
