About this Event

Join Jac Semmler of Super Bloom for a flower-filled workshop. Flowers encourage biodiversity and beneficial insects to share our garden, especially pollinators. This workshop will cover all the fundamentals on growing annual flowers from seed.

A Super Bloom is a natural phenomenon, the landscape into swathes of colour as masses of flowers bloom. Annual flowers also have super qualities to them, and how they bring abundant beauty through the seasons to our gardens in wonderful ways.

What you will explore and discover

  • The luminous and diverse annual flowers and the many ways you can use them in your garden
  • How to grow flowers from seed
  • Seed sowing techniques including growing in a container or directly in the garden
  • How to care for seedlings and successfully transplant them into the garden
  • Tips and tricks on extending the blooming of annual flowers throughout the year

This warm and friendly two hour workshop will be hands on with everyone taking home a tray of sown punnets to grow at home, a sowing list and workshop notes.

Workshop size is limited so book now. We don't want you to miss out.
