SUP YOGA is back for a 10th season!! That’s right — for 10 years, we’ve taken yoga to the river every Saturday morning from Memorial Day to Labor Day!
WHO?
Anyone with a sense of adventure, no yoga or paddleboard experience required. (Really, none. IBXO’s instructor has been teaching yoga on land for 21 years and yoga on the river for 10 — she won’t let you fall in!)
WHAT?
We paddle out from the launch at Havens Gardens. We may paddle across the river and do (basic) yoga all the way back; we may paddle, do yoga, paddle, do yoga and paddle and yoga some more; we could paddle out and yoga in one spot because the river’s slick as glass. Every class is different, because the river’s different every day!
WHEN?
Saturday mornings, 8:30 a.m., from Memorial Day Saturday to Labor Day. (Except if it’s stormy — safety first!)
WHERE?
Inner Banks Outfitters to the Pamlico River and back again, where you’ll be welcomed back by Porterpuppy, IBXO’s shop dog 🐶, blissfully yoga-ed and paddled out and ready to face the rest of your Saturday!
WHY?
Because SUP yoga is fun. Because it’s a challenge. Because it’s an adventure. And we’re all about adventure at IBXO. (We’ve also got some brand new Michael Dolsey paddleboards in our rental fleet!)
