The British Canoeing Awarding Body Stand Up Paddleboard ( SUP) Instructor is a great first step if you are looking to deliver safe and enjoyable taster/starter sessions.The SUP Instructor qualification is designed for instructors running Stand Up Paddleboarding taster/starter sessions within the safety management systems of clubs, centres or other organisations.
This is a 2 day, combined, training and assessment course.
Prerequisites:
Minimum of 14 years of age
Full National Association membership
Personal paddling and rescues competency
It is part of the requirements that you are expected to be able to stand up on your SUP.
