Join us on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Dooley Planetarium for a FREE program called Sunstruck. Sunstruck was developed by the Michigan Science Center and introduces the audience to our nearest star, the Sun. This show covers the components of the sun, what the solar wind is, the electromagnetic spectrum, why Earth still has an atmosphere, and the surface features we can see through a telescope.
Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the presentation for visitors to arrive early and explore the planetarium. There is no admission fee for this event, but seating is first come first served. There will be no late seating once the doors have closed.
