BAND BIOS:
Sunshine Daydream (Grateful Dead Tribute)
Founded in 2013, Sunshine Daydream specializes in performing Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band music in a refreshing high energy, up-tempo style. They have played through hundreds of songs in the Grateful Dead repertoire over the years. You never know what you are going to hear and the sets are designed to please the Dead heads and casual listener. The songs are performed as they are intended: high energy, hard hitting and always danceable. Expect psychedelic and innovative jams as the band navigates the Grateful Dead repertoire and select covers by bands like The Allman Brothers, Phish, Widespread Panic and more. The band is based in Springfield, IL and has gratefully enjoyed the support from the greater Illinois community and beyond.
Still Shine (Progressive Bluegrass / Jamgrass):
Formed in the summer of 2014, Still Shine is a group of like-minded, seasoned musicians blending acoustic roots and progressive bluegrass. Mixing mandolin, harmonica, banjo, acoustic guitar, upright bass, and tight harmonies they quickly gained a following around Central Illinois area and the local Midwest. They have shared the stage with artists such as Billy Strings, Railroad Earth, The Leadfoot Band, Split Lip Rayfield, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, Kitchen Dwellers, Larry Keel, Chicago Farmer, Old Shoe and the Way Down Wanderers just to name a few. Along with some well received original music, the band performs an upbeat, energetic show you won't want to miss!
