🌅 Sunset Symbiosis: A Community Fundraiser & Mutual Aid Experience
Join us for an evening of connection, nourishment, and collective care at Sunset Symbiosis — a unique fundraiser hosted by Umoja Is Unity in partnership with Easton Garden Works.
Symbiosis is “a close, long-term relationship between two or more different species where the organisms live in close proximity and interact in various ways, leading to different outcomes.” That’s the heart of this gathering — two community focused organizations coming together to plant seeds of growth, solidarity, and shared abundance for the Lehigh Valley.
✨ An intimate, connection-filled evening featuring:
🎶 Live Music — local musicians creating soulful ambience beneath the setting sun
🌱 Interactive Symbiosis Workshop — led by Farmer Inbal Sella of Easton Garden Works, exploring how interconnectedness, mutual aid, and sustainable community-building can shape our future
🥗 Farm-Fresh Food — grown and prepared with care, highlighting produce from Easton Garden Works
🫱🏾🫲🏼 Mutual Aid in Action — share what you need, offer what you can, and build support networks with neighbors
🍅 Guided Farm Tours — walk the land with Farmers Inbal & Mark Reid and discover where our roots begin
💛 Why We’re Gathering:
This isn’t just a fundraiser — it’s a community centered movement , fueled by creativity, and solidarity. Every ticket directly supports Umoja Is Unity’s 2025 A CommUNITY Thanksgiving Celebration, where we’ll provide a free, love-filled meal for over 300 families across the Lehigh Valley.
Your $25 contribution doesn’t just reserve your spot — it feeds one person this Thanksgiving and fuels UIU’s year-round programs like free literacy events, youth workshops, and community-centered celebrations.
