The Roaring Twenties was a time of great excitement and change; a time of bootleg liquor, the Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and the Cotton Club. The Roaring 20s Jazz Orchestra celebrates the music of this era, when jazz was in its infancy and audiences were as hot and wild as the music.
Led by veteran jazz aficionado Phil Hatton along with guest vocalist Kaylene Harris, this group of fine musicians pay homage to the pioneers of jazz, including legends such as Louis Armstrong, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Django Reinhardt, and The New Orleans Rhythm Kings.
Concerts run from 6pm to 8pm, with an Auslan interpreter on stage at all performances. Don't forget to bring a pincic and a pincic blanket.
All concerts are free to attend and no bookings are required. The City of Subiaco has free parking in Subipark car stations all weekend – no ticket required.
