First Friday Sunset Soirée of the season Live music, food truck and 100% estate wine and Blue Ridge Mountain sunset view. Glass and bottle sales. No tastings or flights after 4:30pm. No ticket or fee to enter.
Crewe d’Bayou show their New Orleans roots, reinterpreting and revitalizing songs by Ray Charles, Beausoleil, and the Meters—giving each a distinctively different flavor, but tying them together with infectious dance beats and sing-along choruses. Matty Metcalfe, Aric van Brocklin, Michael Clem and Paul Rosner. Led by Matty’s swinging accordion melodies, the band recreates the feel of Bourbon Street on Fat Tuesday. With an ever-expanding repertoire of over one hundred songs, dating back to those of Fats Domino and the early Dixieland bands, and up to present day hits--including many of Metcalfe’s original Bayou-inspired tunes.
