BRAVE AUTHENTICITY — moving to the music in whatever way is best for you
RADICAL NON-JUDGEMENT — noticing and letting go of self-judgement, your judgement of others, and any perceived/imagined judgements about you from others
JOYFUL TOGETHERNESS — enjoying a shared experience of musical movement
And another thing to remember — your unique, beautiful body is already always dancing, without you having to do anything! Your breath, your heartbeat, the electrical impulses traveling through your nervous system creating sensations, thoughts, feelings and movement, the food moving through your digestive system and turning into energy, all the simultaneous activity of the trillions of cells that make up this amazing human body you get to inhabit, all of it! It’s all such a wonderous dance! The dance of life.
So please feel free to simply show up, share in some songs and a sunset, and bask and relax in that feeling that you’re already dancing just by being alive. Nothing “to prove” and nothing “to do” — just be.
