The Ala Wai Dance Club is a community-based non-profit organization that provides dance instruction and hosts social events. Our goal is to promote goodwill throughout the dance community by supporting diverse dance art forms and cultural undertakings. The organization will work with other groups that are like-minded and who encourage cooperation between the various dance genres. Every effort is devoted to advocating for the truth through education, social justice, as an edification for all, without prejudice or malice. This month, we are working with Hawaii Salsa & Bachata Paradise, they are putting on a Salsa Festival here on Oahu from August 28th to August 31st, location the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa. Join us this Sunday, at the Ala Wai Palladium Ballroom on August 17th, for a special announcement. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Our Salsa Class is from 5:00 to 6:00.
