WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
This event was created to help newcomers and people who work remotely from Las Palmas to really CONNECT on a deeper level and make new true friends. We have seen how people who first met at this gathering, then did many hikes, dinners and other things together and became great friends, some lovers, and a few even got married.
HOW IS IT ORGANIZED?
The idea is that you sit at a circle with other 8 or 10 individuals and you start talking about a topic given as some sort of reflection to avoid empty conversations about nationalities/jobs/etc. You can share your opinion or listen to what others have to say. Simply come with an open mind and enjoy the experience.
NOTE that during this meetup, people can't really mingle or join other circles until maybe the end when we all go for a drink/food somewhere else. That is why we also have a GUEST LIST. Upon arrival, guests will be distributed in the circles until these are full (max 8-10 people). We have already tried this format many times and people really appreciate it as it is fun and safe at the same time, so they could truly relax and connect with others, creating deeper connections.

WHAT ELSE?
> COVID seems to be considered now as one more type of flu, but use common sense - if you are feeling under the weather or you have a friend who is sick or has COVID, please don't join us this time. Thanks for your understanding.
> DRINKS - bring your own drinks or snacks, and a few more to share if you feel like it, and make sure you also take your cans /plastic bottles/ rubbish with you after.
> SMOKE FREE EVENT and keep in mind that SMOKING IS STILL FORBIDDEN at the beach (on the sand). If you do smoke remember you need to go to the Paseo or designated spaces if you don't want to get a fine or annoy others with the smoke/smell.
