This is your sign to try something new! We’re hitting the water for a sunset kayak tour at beautiful Lake Pleasant guided by GoPaddleAZ.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned paddler this laid-back evening on the water is all about good vibes desert views and making new connections.
This event is open to the public — veterans friends family and community members welcome! Come solo bring a buddy and leave with new friends. ✨
What to Expect:
-A chill paddle to a quiet cove with just enough instruction to get you started!
-Watch the sun melt into the water! Desert sunsets hit different from a kayak 🌅
-Please note that these are not narrated tours. This is a laid back “enjoy the scenery water & friends” tour!
Optional after-party: Live music at Dillon’s Bayou on the marina
MUST-DOs:
✅ Reserve your spot by booking directly through the Pleasant Harbor Marina website — choose the Saturday September 6 2025 sunset tour
✅ Arrive at the Marina by 6:00 PM to allow time for parking and the shuttle/walk to check-in
✅ Check-in starts at 6:30 PM — you’ll get your equipment and a quick paddle intro
✅ Tour launches at 7:00 PM sharp
✅ Bring a headlamp or flashlight
✅ Bring your driver’s license or photo ID
✅ You must be at least 18 years old to participate
🚨Everyone is responsible for booking and paying for their own rental and transportation.
‼️This event is located at Pleasant Harbor Marina in Peoria Arizona. Please note this is NOT located at Scorpion Bay Marina. Pleasant Harbor Marina is located at the southeast corner of Lake Pleasant off Carefree Highway (74). Turn at 87th Ave. and head north to the point of entry gate. Military Veterans Firefighters and Police Officers receive FREE gate entry with ID.

After you go through the point of entry gate parking is available in the paved lot next to the fire station with the blue canopy.
Shuttle golf carts are available to pick you up in the parking lot at the blue canopy and bring you down to the floating marina. The shuttle ride is FREE and is available on a first come first served basis. If preferred it is a 15+ minute walk (0.75 miles) to the marina.
