Join us for a unique and inspiring start to your day on Sunday, 21st June, as we celebrate International Yoga Day and the Summer Solstice with a special one-off yoga session on the pitch at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.Arrive from 6:30 a.m. for a 7:00 a.m. start and experience the calm and energy of yoga in a truly unforgettable setting. As the sun rises on the longest day of the year, this session will embrace the spirit of the Summer Solstice - honouring the sun’s peak energy through uplifting, heart-opening movement.
Delivered in partnership with experienced yoga instructor Hayley (@Sattvayoga_hayley), together we’ll take part in the traditional practice of 108 Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar) — a symbolic moving meditation.
Please know: you do not need to complete all 108. You are welcome to move at your own pace, pause, rest, observe, or simply soak in the atmosphere. Whether you complete 5, 20, 54, 108, or choose stillness, being present in the circle is enough..
These movements are designed to gently build heat, awaken the body, and boost energy, confidence, and positivity - perfect for setting the tone for the day ahead.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or more experienced, this session is open to everyone.
Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one. A limited number will be available on the day on a first-come, first-served basis.
This is a free event, but we kindly encourage donations to support the ongoing work of the Warrington Wolves Community Foundation, helping us continue to make a positive impact across our community.
Start your day with purpose, positivity, and connection - we’d love to see you there.
