Register here: forms.gle/Uek66eB3dnMM8hhy8Join us for a joyous splash into the sea, hosted by MTSW and local sea-swimmers from across Wellington, followed by some warming seaweed teas from our mates at AgriSea (BYO mug!) and an optional warm up with Scenic Saunas.
We’ll be sticking close to shore- come for a dip, a paddle, or stay on the beach if you wish.
Please bring with you:
- A mug/keep cup. We'll have Agrisea seaweed teas and yummy seaweed baking on hand for attendees, just BYO cup!
-warm clothes for after the dip
Some safety reminders:
-We'll be taking a quick dip, not a major ocean swim!
-You are responsible for your own safety in the water, swim within your comfort zone and limits
-Please stay within the designated swim zone, marked by the dive flag and buoys
-Swim with a buddy and stay with them at all times
-Children must be accompanied by an adult/parent or guardian in water and on land
-Please keep yourself safe! Get out of the water before you get too cold
-In an emergency the shore team will blow their whistle 3 times - this means exit the water immediately and follow the shore persons directions
