The Koa Fund presents its annual Sunrise Gathering hosted by Dormouse Theatre. This unique immersive community art and storytelling experience brings people together around a theme to encounter and engage in artistic expression and to create advocacy and support for what youth are and can be doing in Kalamazoo.
This December we’ll explore and celebrate our identity through Sunrise Gathering: My Crown. The Dormouse Theatre will provide safe space to artistically and expressively explore our identity as individuals and community — ‘I choose to crown who I am and how I am in this world.’
Join us December 15th for an immersive and magical experience of storytelling performance creative engagement good food and drinks fantastic artists treasure hunts and live music. We’ll creatively engage and grow as people and community sharing a magical afternoon of supporting our mission to help youth be valiant.
