About this Event
High coworkers are invited to join a special guided hike of the Sunnyside Peninsula—an extraordinary natural area within Lancaster City that’s being reimagined as a world-class Environmental Center and Nature Preserve.
This visionary project began at the High Foundation, with teams from Greenfield Architects, High Associates, and High Construction playing essential roles in bringing it to life. This is a unique opportunity for High coworkers to see the site firsthand, learn about the project’s goals and ecological significance, and hear how your work is helping shape a transformational community asset.
Hike Leaders:
- Diana Martin, Director of High Impact, High Foundation; Executive Director, Partners for Environmental Stewardship
- Keith Williams, Naturalist, Lancaster Conservancy
What to Expect:
A 2-mile guided hike through uneven terrain, exploring the site's ecology, history, and future plans. The trails are not currently open to the public outside of guided programs, making this a special behind-the-scenes opportunity. Please note there are no bathrooms on-site.

This hike is exclusively for High coworkers who are interested in learning more about this impactful project.
