Make yourself a dress in 4 way stretch fabric.Over the 1 day session I will take you through the process of dressmaking from a pattern.
During the class, we will look at the pattern and its markings etc. We will endeavor to produce a simple dress in 4 way stretch fabric or we will send you home with the ability to finish it.
The pattern has the option of tunic, mini,knee and maxi lengths. it is made using the ' burrito' method with a fully lined sleeveless body
Includes sizes XXS-4XL.
I will send you a PDF pattern which will require you to print off and tape together. (We will not have time on the day) or arrange to have it printed.
***YOU SHOULD HAVE BASIC SEWING MACHINE SKILLS IN ORDER TO ATTEND THIS CLASS. ***
You will need:
* Sewing machine ( + all leads and instruction booklet)
* Basic sewing kit i.e. scissors, pins, tape measure, needle, thread.
* Pen and paper
* Packed lunch
* fabric and notions to complete the dress
*stretch fabric needles
1 session 10 - 4pm
£50 for the complete course. - this includes light refreshments and PDF Pattern
£25 non-returnable deposit, (payable through PayPal or BACs)
Balance due at least 14 days before class.
Cancellations within 7 days of class results in NO MONIES RETURNED.
