About this Event
Upon request and on a limited basis, SMA offers a training program for qualified solar equipment technicians to self-perform central inverter preventative and corrective maintenance. Following the successful completion of the training, the customers technician will be permitted to safely perform inverter maintenance tasks in a manner that is safe and consistent with industry best practices. All training is provided at the direction of and for the benefit of the solar plant owner to minimize lost production.

» Live demonstration on inverter components and functionality of DC, AC, Auxiliary Power, Cooling, Communication, Data Logging and Monitoring
» Hands-on exercises on identifying faults
» Practice how to evaluate event and error codes to find the best solution
» Conduct parts replacements based on the fault findings
» Conduct preventative maintenance work in accordance with the SMA maintenance protocol
» Learn and practice how to read circuit diagrams, finding components and part numbers
