Join Mother Serpentine on an exploration of our heritage site, seeking out supernatural activity & discovering stories from the Mills' past.
About this Event

Experience an authentic paranormal exploration, as part of our exhibition on folklore, LORE. Hosted by experienced paranormal investigators Grace Encounters UK.

Ghost stories are part of the folklore around the world, and on this late night lock in we will use a range of tools including Ouija, tarot, spirit box and more to be the first to conduct a paranormal investigation in this Victorian mill. You will have chilling first hand encounters with spirit communication, using a range of tools and technology available. Meet the clothiers, workers and gentlemen who have walked these halls since 1829.

Please note that you are welcome to bring your own kit. Use of all tools is optional, and our kit includes all the essentials such as Ouija, REM pods, EMF, spirit box, Estés method, K2 meters, cat balls, pendulums and dowsers, SLS, temp gauges, EVP, psychic sensitives and more.

Price includes a buffet midway through the walk. The walk will take place from approx 8:30pm until 1am.

This event will start in the Gallery and will move across the site of the Mills, so pease wear clothing suitable for being outside in the cold for long periods of time. Please be aware that Sunny Bank Mills is an old post-industrial space and you may encounter uneven floors, steep climbs and dark spaces during the event. We will also be entering spaces with step-only access.

There are several disabled toilets on site, as well as free accessible parking.

Sunny Bank Mills is an inspirational cultural destination in the heart of the local community of Farsley, Leeds. Founded in 1829, these glorious Mills are being regenerated by the sixth generation of the family owners, creating a wonderful blend of work, leisure and culture.

Event bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. We regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the event date. Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable.
