Kansainvälisesti arvostetun pianisti Sunna Gunnlaugsin johtamaa trioa pidetään Islannin parhaana jazzyhtyeenä. Trio on hurmannut vangitsevalla nordic-americanallaan jazzyleisön ympäri maailman (mm. Vancouver Jazz Festival, DJ Jazz Fest, London Jazz Fest) ja esiintynyt Euroopan merkittävimmillä klubeilla. Gunnlaugsin musiikki on täynnä lumoavia melodisia tutkielmia, joita värittävät pohjoisen kuulaat ja ajattomat sävyt.Gunnlaugsin trio on tehnyt aiemmin yhteistyötä myös trumpetisti Verneri Pohjolan kanssa. Trion viides levy Becoming ilmestyi viime vuonna.

Konsertti on ikärajaton. Kouluikäiselle alle 18-vuotiaalle lapselle voi hankkia myös opiskelijalipun ovelta, mikäli konsertti ei ole ennakkoon loppuunmyyty. Alle kouluikäiset pääsevät keikoille maksutta.
Tapahtuma toteutetaan pääosin istumakatsomolla.

If the event is not sold out, there will be student tickets available at the door for 20 € each (student tickets not sold online) before the show starts. Please show your student card when purchasing student tickets. The concert has no age limit. Children under school age can enter gigs free of charge.
The event is a seated concert for the most part.
