BLIZZARDS AND BLOCK PRINTS
Winter blues got you down? Need to get out of the house and around town? Try a new craft, block printing, without the commitment of buying all the supplies. For this event we’ll be printing different snowflake designs on items you bring. Items can be clothing or paper, please make sure to bring appropriate protection to take your items home (such as a trashbag to cover clothing, etc). If you’d like to purchase a 12 napkin set for a festive placesetting, they will be available onsite for purchase for $10 additional dollars. Unleash your creative side to create some unique, one of a kind, snowflake block prints on clothing and paper. This workshop offers the perfect opportunity to learn, create, and find your inner artist.
Workshop highlights:
• HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE: Learn block printing basics from an expert instructor
• CREATIVE EXPRESSION: Explore various printing techniques to craft unique and personalized clothing and paper pieces
• PAPER, FABRIC, AND INK: Understand the printing process for different surface areas and ink types
Details:
• Participants must be ages 14+
• $50/person
• Block prints provided will include multiple different snowflake designs
• You're welcome to bring as much of your own clothing and paper to print on
• Napkin set of 12 will be available for purchase for $10 on site
• We'll be using blue ink for printing
• It's recommended to bring solid color shirts, preferably cotton, and without texture (so NOT a wool sweater).
• Bring plastic trash or grocery bags to cover your items to take home with you
• The ink is permanent and will stain anything it gets on
• Wear clothes you don't mind getting ink on, it can be a messy process
