In this intro class to mosaic you will make a sunflower mosaic with a beaded center (or a small round mirror, if preferred). No prior experience is necessary. You will learn the particulars of cutting class and affixing your glass to the base. Grouting will be demonstrated and done at home after a day or more to dry.Member fee: $60, Non-Member fee: $75
Kit fee: $25 - Included in kit fee: Primed 8" MDF substrate, stained glass, Weldbond glue, grout to take home, use of tools, and all paraphernalia needed for the process. Also, a small round mirror if preferred to beaded center.
Strung seed beads, size 6, for seeds, to be provided by students.
