***Joost Lijbaart (Amsterdam, 1967) has built an international career spanning over 35 years as a drummer, bandleader, and sideman. His diverse musical interests range from jazz and pop to traditional music from West Africa, Northern India, and the Middle East. Among various accolades, he received a soloist prize awarded by Elvin Jones at the North Sea Jazz Festival.
***River Adomeit (Connecticut, USA, 1996) is a songwriter and improviser deeply rooted in American folk and jazz traditions. Now based in Amsterdam, River brings together a wide palette of influences in a bold and concentrated approach to both composition and performance.
***Amelie Spinks (Kent, UK, 2003) grew up in small-town New Zealand and moved to Amsterdam in 2021 to pursue her passion for jazz and double bass. Now beginning her journey as a songwriter, she explores indie-folk with inspiration from Adrienne Lenker, Joni Mitchell, and Aldous Harding. Her songs capture the spirit of New Zealand’s folk tradition.
