Join the Sunderland Recovery Coalition's Recovery Walk this September. The Recovery Coalition represents local recovery organisations - Wear Recovery, Change Grow Live, Recovery Connections and NERAF. We also aim to meet South Tyneside's recovery organisation STARS at Souter Lighthouse to celebrate local recovery!Together we will walk from Pier View (Roker), to Souter Lighthouse. Any questions, or to register your attendance contact 01915148520. We aim to meet between 10:00-10:30 before leaving. We anticipate the walk to last between 90 minutes and 2 hours. You are welcome to stay at the end of the walk for a picnic and some activities, including writing messages of recovery. Please bring a bottle of water and a pack lunch if you wish to have a picnic with us at the finish line. A bus will be provided for those travelling from the Hendon area on a first come first served basis.
This event is open to the public, including friends of recovery. Dogs allowed, if on a lead. We are adult only services so children won't be able to attend the event.
