Hot Cat Jazz BandThe Hot Cat Jazz Band is based in Wethersfield and is kept extremely busy performing at various venues across the state. At the Avon Library Concert, you will hear music that spans the decades with selections from the
1920’s – including Dixieland Jazz and songs from Tin Pan Alley
1930’s – Early Swing Standards of Cole Porter and Frank Sinatra
1940’s – Big Band Jazz of Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman
1950’s – Early Rock and Roll of Elvis Presley and the Everly Brothers

These free concerts, made possible by the Friends of The Avon Free Public Library, through their fundraising from Book Sales. Their concerts take place in the library’s Community Room. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis until seating limit is reached. Free tickets are available at the door starting at 2:15pm. Doors open at 2:30pm. Concerts are from 3:00pm – 4:00pm.
