About the Bri Rivera Band

Bri was born and raised in Cidra, Puerto Rico, and grew up in a very musical family. At age 9, she picked up the cuatro, a typical instrument from Puerto Rico, and at age 12, decided to become a guitarist. She got to the U.S. in 2006 and in 2012 started playing music in her new hometown Sarasota. Randy Bordon was born and raised in Cuba, after finishing high school he joined the military where he quickly realized he'd rather learn how to play the bass, Upright Bass to be specific. Randy became an excellent bass player playing all over the island and upon arriving in the U.S in 2013. The drummer, Adam Sahhar, originally from Buffalo, NY, has been playing drums since age 12. His deep roots in funk, pop, and reggae coupled with his unique drum setup create a style all his own that adds amazing flare to their groove.
