2025 marks the Centenary of the opening of the Ford Motor Co. Assembly Plant in Saint Paul (on the east bank of the Mississippi River in the Highland neighborhood in St Paul).
The featured piece of this concert concert is “Flivver Ten Million”, which depicts in musical terms the “life” of the ten-millionth Model T Ford that rolled off the production line. Back in the day, Ford’s Model Ts were made at the Saint Paul Ford assembly plant.
