Yin yoga targets the connective tissue - fascia, ligaments, tendons - and the joints. Holding poses for longer, looking to relax the muscles and find greater depth and softness. By applying gentle and sustained pressure to the connective tissue, remodeling can occur, which helps maintain healthy fascia. 🌿A balance needs to be found between Yin and Yang yoga. The Yang style builds muscle and stimulates blood flow throughout the body. In this process, the connective tissue is compressed.
🌿Yin yoga will ease this compression, allowing better movement and health.
🌿Join me on the mat from 5pm-7pm as we look to relax deep into our bodies to release tension and create better flow.
