Welcome to the Maplewood Ward! Our Sunday worship service is a time to enjoy music and messages centered on Jesus Christ and His teachings, prepared and shared by members of our congregation. You’ll find a reverent yet welcoming atmosphere where families typically sit together. Women typically wear dresses and men wear suits and ties, but come as you are, because everyone is welcome. The service begins with the sacrament meeting, similar to communion in other Christian religions. Bread and water are blessed and passed to the congregation as a sacred way to remember Jesus Christ’s sacrifice and love. You’re invited to participate by eating and drinking the bread and water, or you can simply pass them along. Afterward, members of the ward share a selection of inspiring messages and music. Following the sacrament meeting, we move into a study hour with gospel discussions tailored for youth and adults in separate classes. It’s a chance to deepen your understanding, ask questions, and connect with others in our community. Follow this link to our Sunday Worship Meeting Outline .
