About this Event
Heart of Africa is the first in a series of informal Sunday afternoon sessions showcasing diverse grooves and beats from around the world.
Curated by Senegal’s Samba Sene, with djembe drummers, singers, dancers and a set by his band Diwan. Special guests include Jules Sow on kora, dancer Adie Baako and singer Cynthia Gentle.
Doors: 5.15pm
Unreserved seating, standing and dacing.
Accompanied children welcome. Children under 2 are free, all others should be paid for at the concession rate.
Please note - Due to its basement location, The Jazz Bar is only accessible via 2 flights of stairs, so is not suitable for wheelchair users
