Volunteers meet every Sunday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm to help restore our natural areas, earn service hours and a great sense of fulfillment. Activities may include trail maintenance, invasive plant species removal, brush-cutting, seeding, planting, and much more! Tools provided. No registration required; groups larger than 5 should call ahead. Children less than 14 years old must be always accompanied by an adult. New faces welcome! Call the Nature Center at 312-744-5472 with any questions.A signed waiver is required for volunteer opportunities with the Chicago Park District. Go to the Park District’s volunteer web page (listed below) for more information and to sign a waiver electronically. In the waiver, at the “event name” box, please type “Volunteer Stewardship Workdays at NPV.”
