About this Event
Reading newspapers and watching the news on adjacent television is part of Sunday morning life in the USA, along with church. Church is meant to be a social experience, whereas newspaper time is intended to be solitary. What happens when we read our news together?
"Sunday Social News" is one of our new interventions happening on Sunday, November 17th, at 10AM-3PM, at 545 Columbia Road, Dorchester. We invite you to engage and explore and be inspired to create your own interventions.

We design social interventions that engage populations in imagining and designing new solutions to social problems. For us, social interventions are actions taken to reconfigure social habits, unspoken agreements or arrangements that, prior to the intervention, add to the durability and normalcy of a social problem. We focus on social interventions because we believe they can affect both formal hierarchical systems like school systems and complex nonlinear systems like cultures.
We share our methodology to support others in designing social interventions.
We invite YOU to design your own interventions.
