The Adventure Awaits!
Our session kicks off right from Freedom Plaza, where we'll start with a classic, brief stop to take in the grandeur (and a group photo!) of The Capitol before we turn our focus North and East.
The Climb, Climb, Climb!
Prepare to put in the work! We're heading for a significant climb to Catholic University via the fantastic Metropolitan Branch Trail (MBT)! This is where you conquer almost the entire 580' elevation gain, earn the downhill, and feel the burn that makes the rest of the skate so sweet.
The Scenic Descent and Urban Roll
Once we top out, it’s a thrilling journey back into the heart of DC, weaving through vibrant communities and past historic landmarks:
We'll roll past the historic Rock Creek Church grounds.
We'll skate through the lively area surrounding Howard University.
Finally, we'll transition onto New Hampshire Avenue and fly down 17th Street for the exhilarating final push!
The Finish Line
It all wraps up back where we started, at Freedom Plaza, energized and accomplished after an amazing 11+ mile loop!
