The next installment of our series of FREE music events features acoustic duo The Mafeking Hillbillies, made up of brother & sister Steve Laws and Liz Wakely. Their folky/country material features sibling harmonies and a mixture of original material, often telling local stories, and covers of artists including Hank Williams, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, The Byrds and Dolly Parton. The bar will be open serving a range of local wine beers and ciders.
If the weather is favourable we’ll be outside on the Peppercorn Stage at the rear of the theatre. Otherwise we’ll be inside with tables and chairs rather than the tiered seating bank. Bring a bunch of friends and enjoy the relaxed vibe of these sessions.
