Griffo is excited to welcome Fire Up!, a Bay Area Tribute to the Garcia Saunders Songbook. This rotating cast of players will have you transported with the first tune. Pizza 909 will be slinging Artisenal pies all day while the Griffo crew serves up delicious cocktails from our ever rotating menu! Our project is funky, bluesy, Jamy, RnB, and Jazzy with an emphasis on the Hammond organ.One might say “Ballroom brawling, baby making music, modeled after the 1972 – 1975 Legion of Mary era. It is different than what you hear from other JGB bands who focus on more of the 80’s and 90’s gospel Jerry era.
