SH Jazz is proud to present Lyhra, the captivating alchemy of three celebrated singers, songwriters, and performers — Trish Delaney-Brown, Sam Walton, and Bri Cowlishaw — blending their voices and creativity into a sound that is both timeless and unmistakably their own. Accompanied by their swinging band — Nic Cecire (drums), Duncan Brown (bass) and Sam Rollings (guitar) — Lyhra draws from a rich stylistic palette: the soul of Aretha Franklin, the close harmonies of The Chordettes, the charm of The Andrews Sisters, the swing of Mel Tormé, and the poetic storytelling of Joni Mitchell — all meeting in a joyous, contemporary groove.
Formed in 2022, Lyhra has quickly built a reputation for magnetic live performances, with appearances at Lazybones Lounge, Django Bar, Bennelong @ the Opera House, and Butchers Brew. They’ve featured at the South Coast Sings Twilight Concert (2023) and Wollongong Council’s Luminous Festival (2022–24), selling out multiple shows along the way.
In 2025, Lyhra celebrated the release of their first live album, Live at Church Street, captured in the intimacy and energy of the studio’s legendary performance space. The album launch in Canberra was a sell-out success, drawing a standing ovation and cementing Lyhra’s reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting vocal ensembles.
Whether delivering lush, intricate harmonies or high-energy arrangements, Lyhra’s performances are marked by vocal precision, joyful connection, and a rare chemistry that draws audiences in from the very first note.

The $35 ticket price ($30 for SH Jazz members, $20 for student/child) plus booking fee is for event entry only, with reserved table seating.
Food and drink is available to order at the venue. If you have any special song requests or seating preferences, please let us know when you book! Doors open from 1:00pm with the band playing from 2-4:30pm.

The Bowlo's kitchen will be serving lunch from 12 noon, and you are very welcome to come early and eat in the main room before the show. Our doors will open at 1:00pm and the band will start at 2:00pm, playing through until 4:30pm. Lunch orders will continue until 2:30pm, with a snack menu and drinks (including tea and coffee) available through the remainder of the afternoon.
