A tight-knit acoustic blues quartet playing classic traditional country blues, folk blues and Australian blues with some Americana mixed in.
These guys have known each other forever. Jeff played with Howie in the late 70s’/early eighties in the Jaywalkers and John with Howie in the mid eighties in Dave Hole and the Hellraisers.
After going to see Jeff play with the fantastic Suntones last year, Howie asked him if he would like to form a side project playing acoustic folk and country blues. Jeff agreed and suggested an acoustic bass player. The name John Wilson came to their lips simultaneously. Later they added Phil Riseborough on drums to round out the sound they were striving for. The Front Porch Serenaders were born!
