Here’s some info:
Kia Ora. My name is Moana Kyle and I am a yoga teacher. I started as a Kid's Yoga teacher, and have worked with kids, teens, families, schools, and tamariki with diverse needs. I am also trained as a Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga teacher and I am currently teaching Yin Yoga at Hot Yoga Dunedin. Yin Yoga is a beautiful restorative modality of yoga targeting our joints, ligaments, fascia, and connective tissue. We also focus on our breath and awareness of mind. I am super excited to be sharing my love of yin yoga with the Spiritualist Church community. The yoga asana (movements and shapes) will be very gentle. They will be totally optional along with the breath awareness that I will lead. You can do it all while sitting in your chair, but I will also bring along some yoga mats for you to use. The asana will be suitable for all ages, abilities, and fitness levels. I will have some complimentary class passes for Hot Dunedin for those wishing to give yoga a go.
